Dr. Jeremiah Handschin

Dr. Jeremiah Handschin, owner of Pro-Motion Chiropractic & Rehabilitation in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, discovered chiropractic at a young age. While playing soccer as a child, he suffered from back pain and his father took him to a chiropractor. Having experienced the effectiveness of chiropractic and seeing his family benefit from chiropractic care, Jeremiah decided to dedicate his life to helping others with physical medicine.

Dr. Handschin graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in biology before traveling to Chicago to start his chiropractic education at the National University of Health Sciences. He graduated from NUHS in May of 2005 and was the “Joseph Janse award” winner as the most outstanding graduate of his class.

Shortly after completing his chiropractic education Jeremiah began practicing under Dr. David Johnson at North Shore Spinal and Sports Rehabilitation with several other gifted chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists. Here he had the opportunity to conduct and direct the rehabilitation of everything from headaches to hip replacements to surgical foot reconstructions. He was also involved in the acquiring and reading of thousands of radiologic studies including MRI’s, CT scans, bone scans and x-rays. He was also heavily involved in continuing education classes fulfilling the requirements for a diplomate in chiropractic orthopedics. After three years of practicing in the Chicago area Jeremiah decided to leave the city to live closer to family in Jackson, Wyoming.

Dr. Handschin currently lives in Wilson, Wyoming with his beautiful wife and their four boys. When he's not in the office or chasing his boys, he likes to road bike, trail run, snowboard, backpack, fly fish and do everything else that Jackson Hole has to offer.

Dr. Handschin participates in ongoing educational opportunities in biomechanics, functional rehabilitation, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and more to better treat his patients with the most current concepts and knowledge.
